NICE’s ambition is to create a forum for interaction and cross-fertilization for the various branches of economics which study the corporation, but which currently lack an organized way of interacting with and learning from each other. These include industrial organization, labor, trade, corporate finance, accounting, and the economics of innovation and entrepreneurship. Our hope is that research in each of these areas will be enriched by exposure to and interaction with scholars in the other areas. To this end, NICE organizes a series of conferences to bring together leading scholars located in the Nordics or with Nordic roots, in a setting that maximizes the chances for impromptu interaction.
